We are delighted to invite you to a special HKUAANC members only guided geologic field trip in Marin County led by Professor LS Chan.
Join your fellow alumni on this informative excursion to explore the natural wonder right in our own backyard!
Space is limited at 30. RSVP by 8 Aug 2026 at 5pm.

Event details:
The entire trip will be easy walking with a total distance of less than 3 miles. We'll car pool in between key visit points, starting and ending at Baker Beach. We'll be asking for volunteers to provide carpool in the registration.
We'll meet and start at the BAKER BEACH parking lot at 10 am and spend an hour here.
The car pool will start at this point. Attendees who are getting a ride for the subsequent locations will leave their cars at this parking lot.
We'll spend 2-3 hours at RODEO BEACH (Mitchell Road, Sausalito), including time for lunch. Your pre-ordered lunch box (choices of sandwiches or chicken salad, plus a packet of chips and a drink) will be served.
The final stop is MARIN HEADLANDS (948 Fort Barry, Sausalito, with additional parking along Conzelman Road, near Battery Spencer).
The view of Golden Gate Bridge with San Francisco in the background is breathtaking.
